  Our tag-line says it all, the Base Camp is about community and culture. The ski and snowboard industry is constantly evolving, we feel the industry is more of a culture then a sport, and for the first time snowboarders and skiers can relate. The culture we are talking about is freeride, no barriers or gates to hold you back just go out and ride! Were not just a retail shop, we are about improving our community through unity. We want our customers to be our friends first and the support will follow. Ski and snowboard shops around the world are changing, and we are happy to say our shop is ahead of the times! We feel it’s very important to cater to the groms(kids) of today and get them inspired to ski, snowboard, climb, skate, or whatever. Our shop prides itself on sponsoring local talented athletes to help them pursue their dreams! At the Base Camp we’ve mixed fashion, art, and music directly with the outdoor activities we pride ourselves on to reflect what’s driving this new sports culture. Aside from athletes we also support local artist and have art shows, live music, and pray for snow parties with huge raffles! Shasta Base Camp is a hub for information about backcountry skiing, downhill mountain biking, rock climbing, boating, and pretty much anything to do with the outdoor industry and the Mount Shasta area.
